Community leaders, business owners, volunteers, and residents from across the region are invited to attend our one-day summit designed to inspire, educate, and equip those who are passionate about building stronger, more vibrant communities! We will establish a plan to Reimagine what Fairfax will be in the next 50 years. Our story is rich in the history of Oklahoma and Osage County. Cattle, oil, and so many more stories will be told in the tapestry we create. We will use theatre, arts, and more to tell our own story. We can develop sustainable tourism for Fairfax.
We will do this by turning empty storefronts into exciting venues to display our art by creating 'artists in residence.' We will create a space for visitors to enjoy our cultural foods and western swing music. We will recreate the Silver Moon Cafe and open the floodgates for the thousands of visitors drawn by the movie's release.
By building a coalition of interested public partners and individual entrepreneurs. Federal and state programs can be stacked with private venture capital. Creating jobs and seeing our city flourish is possible only if we work together. The sooner we start, the better prepared we will become as the next fantastic tourism destination. We will build our future based on our past.

After the depletion of oil reserves, Covid-19 nearly killed her off. But it may not be too late. Tourists are already coming to town. We believe that she can become a world-class tourism destination.
